Rock Valley Christian Church started in 2005, with Pastor David and a few others seeking God’s direction on what they should do to serve Him. As we were feeling called to start a church in Lake Elsinore, California, our prayer was that if God wanted us to serve Him in this way, He would bless it. And if it was not something He wanted us to do, He would cause it to come to nothing.
Since that small beginning, we have seen God grow our church – one family and one person at a time – into a loving and caring fellowship of believers. We have experienced God’s provision and blessing as He gave us land and a church building in Murrieta, and the means to care for those He sent our way. We believe in practicing the patience of the saints as recorded in Revelation 14:12, “Here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” As a result, you can expect to worship God, and hear the Bible clearly taught by the power of the Holy Spirit, in our worship services.
Our purpose as a part of God’s church is clearly stated in Ephesians 4:11-16 (NKJV), “For He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head – Christ – from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
You’re invited! Join us this Saturday at 10:30 a.m. for our weekly worship service.
