What Does the Bible have to say about food?

Join us to learn and discuss biblically and scientifically backed information on how to nourish the temples that God has given us, so that we can feel better and more able to serve others! Come with all your questions! After Malachi, now age eight, was born, we have been asking and seeking- what will we feed this cutie?! Three more kids later, wrestling with our own chronic pains and maladies, and taking care of my grandmother with Alzheimer’s, and we have come across some answers that we would love to share with you! Beth and Luke will be teaming up to give you both the nitty gritty science (Luke) with the basic practical actions and recipes (Beth) you can take to slowly but effectively help you and your loved ones feel better. Some topics we will cover:
- Understanding and making REAL bread (the kind Jesus would recognize!)
- The value of fermenting or sprouting grain (is it worth the fuss/hype?)
- Knowing GOOD and BAD fats (cholesterol, butter, omega-3, etc.)
- SWEETEN your life without tanking your health
- Dairy: hero or villain?
- Know and trust God’s design in your body and the plants and animals He gave for food
