Why Do We Give

Throughout Scripture, God calls His people to give generously of their time, talents, and resources. Yet everything belongs to Him. So why does He ask us to give? What does He desire to accomplish through our sacrifices, and what should our motivation be when we give?

As Christians, we are called to reflect on the heart behind our generosity. Is our giving motivated by love and gratitude, or are we hoping to receive something in return—salvation, material blessings, or God’s favor? Through Scripture, this sermon invites us to examine our own giving and discover God’s ultimate purpose in calling His people to give.
