Missing the Heart of the Feast

In John 7, we find the scribes and Pharisees caught up not in celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles, but in plotting how to destroy Jesus. Their intentions were set against Him even before the feast began. This story invites us to reflect on our own hearts and to surrender everything to Jesus, both before and during our feast celebrations, so that we may truly honor the Father in spirit and truth.
