Join Michaela, January 11 and 12 for a two-day workshop, called Bible-Alive! Are you between the ages of 13-18 (and still in high school)? Do you love Performing? Writing? Acting? Directing? Or just trying something new? Then this workshop is for you!

In these workshops you get to learn what it takes to write a screen-play and bring out your creativity. You’ll get to write your own Bible inspired skit! We will be learning that everyone has a platform, and that we can take that platform and use it to be a godly influence in society.

Then Michaela will teach you the fundamentals of Acting, by helping you bring your Bible Skit to life! Learn character development, speech, confidence on stage, how to make the audience laugh by your performance, and more! We will be learning that we should not just “act” as a child of God but live like a child of God.

And finally Directing! Now is the time for you to take what you learned in the Writing and Acting Workshops and put those skills into action! Each of you will get the chance to cast, block, and help each other hone in your acting skills. In this workshop you will learn what it takes to be a good director, which really takes someone who knows how to be a godly leader.

Upon completing the workshop each of you will receive a certificate of completion to take home.

The dates and times are:
Saturday January 11, from 1:00-3:00pm will be the first workshop focused on screen-writing
Sunday January 12 from 1:00-5:30 pm (with a 30 min snack break included) will focus on acting and directing.

The beginning of each workshop will include a short bible lesson, so teens, you will need to bring your Bibles for both days. Also you will need a notebook and pencil for writing your skits. Sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board. Please sign up no later than the morning of January 11th (before the worship service). If you are interested, or if teens and parents of teens have any questions, see Michaela.
